Valor Veteran Care operates VA-approved residential care homes under the Medical Foster Home and Community Residential Care programs. Our homes are inspection-ready, our caregivers are vetted, and our founder is a combat veteran who takes this personally.
We participate in all major VA residential care programs and maintain compliance with the federal regulations that govern them. Below is a summary of our program participation and the regulatory standards we meet.
Our MFH homes are approved for veterans requiring nursing-home level of care. Licensed caregivers reside in the home as their primary residence. We coordinate directly with the HBPC team for ongoing medical oversight and annual inspections.
Our CRC homes provide enriched supportive housing for veterans who cannot live independently. All properties are prepared to meet VA inspection standards and we maintain the required state licensure in Missouri, Kansas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
We accept HUD-VASH vouchers and our properties are prepared to pass Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections. We work with the local Public Housing Authority and VA case managers to ensure smooth placement and ongoing compliance.
We assist veterans and families in applying for and maximizing VA Aid and Attendance benefits. We understand how this benefit interacts with other program payments and we communicate clearly with coordinators on funding arrangements.
We understand that coordinators are managing complex caseloads. Our job is to make your placement process as smooth as possible by handling our side of the process completely.
